United States Patents and Trademarks Office (USPTO) grants Ellistar rights to "Special Technique"

Ellistar is pleased to announce that we have won patent rights to our sensing techniques and apparatus in the United States. Our patent is also pending in Canada.

The main claims in Ellistar's first patent were developed in support of Ellistar's "Special Technique" for discriminating between living and non-living targets. This will enable a significant reduction in false alarms due to "pedestrian-sized" clutter such as garbage cans, telephone poles and fire hydrants. We have also won the rights to many other methods for clutter and false alarm reduction.
